We offer our business customers two services to ensure they can accurately monitor their water consumption and effluent quality parameters. These services are shown below:

Flow Watch

Note: If you are already registered with Flow Watch, log-in here.

Flow Watch involves the fitting of a remote data logging device to the existing water meters on your site, which then records flow readings at programmed intervals and sends this information daily to United Utilities. The customer can then access this data via a secure website in graphical, summary or individual value formats.

The system also incorporates alarms which can be set to alert the customer to excessively high or low pressures or flows at the meter - particular effective in identifying leaks on the network.

Features and benefits

  • Easy access to date via secure website
  • Profiles historic water usage
  • Early indication of potential leaks
  • High/low pressure or flow alarms transmitted to your email or via SMS to your mobile
  • Fully managed service - we resolve any technical issues

TEQ Watch

TEQ Watch involves the fitting of a remote data-logging device to your existing wastewater meter which then records readings at programmed intervals and sends this information to United Utilities. You can then access this data via our secure web site.

The service monitors the key charging elements for trade effluent customers (suspended solids / chemical oxygen demand / flow) and also monitors other consented parameters. This allows businesses to track costs in terms of wastewater management, helping with budgeting and efficiency measures.

The service will be of particular interest to those organisations that need to demonstrate compliance with Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) regulations as it can record and monitor the effluent being discharged from a site.

Features and benefits

  • Easy access to data via secure web site
  • Alarms can be set to indicate consent failures, with messages sent to your email address or via SMS to a mobile phone
  • Provides evidence for IPPC submissions
  • Fully managed service - we resolve any technical issues
